The Addax is a versatile, multi-adjustable standing frame designed to support children in prone and supine setups; both setups support an upright position and offer a tilted range of up to 90°. The frame offers up to 30° of individual hip abduction for each leg, with a clear scale for precise adjustments. Standing and standing in abduction can have a wide range of physical, mental and social benefits.
The stander features a robust frame, castors, a centre column, a tilt mechanism and an abduction mechanism, all ensuring a tailored fit for every child.
A wide range of accessories enhances its adaptability, seamlessly functioning across prone and supine setups, while allowing for individual customisation. The three types of support belts provide wide adjustment options and can be mixed and matched at the hip and chest areas. The many accessories for Addax are designed for comfort, support and easy adjustment. Most daily adjustments can be made tool-free for added convenience for the caregiver.
The Addax is designed for effortless transfers, whether through standing transfers or with a hoist. Its open-ended frame design allows wheelchairs or seating systems to be positioned close to the stander without obstruction, ensuring smooth standing transfers. Additionally, the back of the frame accommodates mobile hoists, such as the Molift Smart 150, enabling seamless transfers with a mobile hoist.
