With our customised assistive devices we safely promote independence and participation in daily activities for children and young people with special needs.
Children are not just small adults!
Children’s body proportions and shapes are different to those of adults and children are also smaller and weigh less. Biological, psychological and emotional development is a continuous process between birth and the end of adolescence, as the individual progresses from dependency to increasing independence.
We have specialised in the development of products for children and young people and the specific needs that must be considered when these products are made.

Children who need assistive devices due to a health condition will often experience development that differs from typical child development. Children with special needs will often have their own unique journey and endpoint of development.
Our assistive devices can be used to support development, to compensate for a lack of development, or to prevent secondary consequences of the health condition affecting the child. The products have been developed to meet the need for product solutions that can be adjusted to the individual user and which allow for adjustment as the child develops. Our products meet the specific regulatory requirements for products that are intended to be used by children.
Our target users are children with congenital and acquired health conditions affecting their development and functional abilities, such as
- Diseases of the nervous system (i.e. Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Stroke and Muscular dystrophy)
- Mental, behavioural or neurodevelopmental disorders (i.e. Autism, Rett Syndrome and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder)
- Congenital malformations, deformations and chromosomal abnormalities (i.e. Microcephaly, Spina bifida, Down Syndrome).
