Since 1976, Convaid has created pediatric mobility solutions that balance clinical positioning with the everyday needs of children and families.
For 50 years, Convaid has remained committed to creating reliable, lightweight and easy-to-use mobility solutions that help families live more adventurous lives.
Occupational therapist Rachel Watkins envisioned a better mobility solution for children and families. Her husband, mechanical engineer Merv Watkins, brought that vision to life. Together, they introduced the industry's first adaptive, compact-folding wheelchair—a patented design that helped redefine pediatric mobility by making it lighter, more portable and easier for caregivers without compromising a child's comfort, positioning or support.
Today, every Convaid mobility solution is designed with children and families in mind—combining clinical support, built-in growth, portability and everyday ease of use.
