Etac awarded with Red Dot Award 2019!
Etac has been acknowledged with yet another design award. In the discipline Product Design and the category Healthcare, we can proudly announce that Etac My-Loo has received the prestigious Red Dot Award.
The Red Dot Award is one of the world’s most sought-after seals of quality for good design and promotes various design segments and product categories. The Red Dot Jury assess several factors such as functionality, ergonomics, durability, degree of innovation, symbolic and emotional content, as well as the ecological compatibility.
The winners will be celebrated at the Red Dot Gala award ceremony in Essen, Germany, in July. The award-winning designs are presented at the Red Dot Design Museums, in an online presentation and in the Red Dot Design Yearbook.
About the product – My-Loo, with brackets
The experienced product development team at Etac together with skilled designers at Myra Industriell Design have developed this raised toilet seat, a product that gives concepts such as hygienic, safe and appealing a new meaning. With its gently sweeping lines and excellent ergonomics, it offers extra-comfort and a design ideally suited to the modern bathroom.
The most important starting point for developing the project and its concept was function. The product should function well for everyone who handle and use it. We have ensured this through continuous reconciliations. We also set high demands on aesthetic design of the products. They should be pure and stylish and blend in with the modern bathroom!
