Etac My-Loo wins iF Design Award 2019
After a three-day jury session, the 2019 winners of the iF DESIGN AWARD have been selected. Etac My-Loo with brackets is one of the winners in the discipline “Product” and the category “Medicine/Health”.
In developing new products, Etac has always had a strong focus on design and over the years several of our products have received design awards. Now Etac can proudly add the iF Design award to that list. A very encouraging start for ”Next level”, the new range of toilet aids where Etac My-Loo, with brackets was the first to hit the market less than a year ago.
“To be rewarded with the prestigious iF Design Award is a nice encouragement to the team who has been working with the design, development, tests and launch of this product. It reinforces our belief that good design is important for our product category and our industry”, says Camilla Svensson, Head of Product Management Hygiene at Etac AB.
The experienced product development team at Etac together with skilled designers at Myra Industriell Design have developed this raised toilet seat, a product that gives concepts such as hygienic, safe and appealing a new meaning. With its gently sweeping lines and excellent ergonomics, it offers extra-comfort and a design ideally suited to the modern bathroom.

About the award
The iF DESIGN AWARD is one of the world’s most important design prizes. It is a seal of quality for exceptional design and outstanding services. For consumers and users, it is a symbol they can trust. For 65 years, designers and manufacturers have strived to win the internationally renowned iF label for design.
This year the jury has evaluated 6 400 entries from 50 different countries in six disciplines. They judge several different factors, for example functionality, safety, aesthetics and ergonomics but also social responsibility, positioning and level of innovation.
The winners will be showcased in the largest design exhibition on the web: the iF WORLD DESIGN GUIDE, and in Hamburg Hafen City, presented to an audience especially interested in design and architecture. The award ceremony will take place in Hamburg March 15th.
