Etac participates at I.S.P.O. World Congress 2025
Exploring new possibilities to meet individual positioning needs
From 16 to 19 June, you can find us at the I.S.P.O. 20th World Congress in Stockholm, Sweden — a premier global event for mobility products. It is hosted by the International Society for Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO), and invites professionals involved in assistive technology, mobility products, and rehabilitation services to meet around the latest advances and innovations in prosthetic and orthotic care.
Showcasing how personalised support can serve as an alternative to orthoses
Etac will participate with focus on postural management, showing how personalised support in our mobility devices can help meet needs that are sometimes managed with orthoses. Our goal is to open up conversations around new ways to support individual positioning by demonstrating how customised setups, accessories, and tailored seating solutions in our wheelchairs and paediatric range can enhance everyday function.
We will display products adapted to different user needs such as postural requirements, body shapes, and levels of mobility. The areas we will highlight are:
- Complex paediatric needs
- Growth development
- Active lifestyles
- Changing needs

Workshop - Wheelchair seating can be an orthosis!
We will also host an interactive workshop, inviting participants to bring their own user cases to see how postural management can be achieved with adaptable wheelchair seating and back solutions from Etac. The aim is to get a discussion going on how we can challenge assumptions and rethink support together to find new solutions for the benefit of our users. We hope as many as possible will join the workshop and take the chance to explore these ideas with us!

Will you be attending I.S.P.O.?
Visit us in our stand or join our workshop on 16 June. We hope to see you there!

The I.S.P.O. World Congress combines a high-quality scientific programme with an international industry exhibition. This year’s theme is “Science in Practice, Practice in Science: Collaboration and innovation towards sustainable rehabilitation”. It will highlight the important link between science and practice in prosthetics and orthotics, and encourage discussions on best practices with emphasis on sustainable rehabilitation. I.S.P.O. is held every two years and is located in a different country each time. This is the first time the event is held in Sweden. For more information, visit I.S.P.O.'s web site.
