March 21 is the World Down Syndrome Day. One way to celebrate the day is by wearing different coloured socks, to honour differences and support equal values and rights of all people.

Let's talk about Down Syndrome! The WDSD is celebrated March 21 because Down's syndrome means having three copies of chromosome No. 21. The chromosomes look like small crosses, just like two socks that pair with the heels against each other.

By wearing #LotsOfSocks we at Etac will partake in the celebrations and ask all our employees to do the same. Together we will give the day a splash of colour!

To wear lots of socks is easy. All you have to do is wear two different socks on March 21. That way, you too can participate in acknowledging inequalities and highlight all people's equal value.
