R82 High-low:xo Frame

The High-low:xo is an indoor or outdoor frame for a seating system with user friendly height adjustment from floor to table height.

The High-low:xo frame is configured to match the needs of the user and caregivers. Deciding between the various functions and accessories makes it possible to reach the best solution. A solution that can compensate for the limitations in body function (and structure), enable activity and participation, while also taking the environment, where the frame is used, into account. Furthermore it helps optimize the work conditions for the caregiver.

All models of the High-low:xo complies with EN-12182:2012. Furthermore, the High-low:xo outdoor complies with EN 12183:2014 and ISO 7176-19 to ensure safe transportation of users in motor vehicles.

The High-low:xo is available in two models; indoor and outdoor. The indoor frame is available in three sizes and the outdoor frame in two sizes. The max load depends on the model, size and use of the frame.

Height adjustment

The High-low:xo takes the user from the floor to table height assisted by a gas spring, power or hydraulic with a minimum of frontal / backwards movement to enable the user to participate in activities important to them.

Fixed mounting or interface

An adapter offers simple and secure mounting of the seat to the frame, and the interface makes is easy to change to another seat. Larger seats can be mounted directly onto the High-low:xo.

Tilt of the seat plate angle

The High-low:xo tilts from -10° to 30°. Tilting can help position the user and help with their abilities to maintain an upright position of the head and trunk. Furthermore, the adjustability can help create the best possible working condition for the caregiver.

Safe transportation in vehicles

The High-low:xo outdoor complies with the international transit wheelchair standard ISO 7176-19. The High-low:xo outdoor can be used with seat units that comply with ISO 16840-4.

When choosing castor size, it is important to consider that smaller castors help decrease the floor to seat height and the larger castors improve the manoeuvrability of the frame.

The hand operated decelerating brakes can help slow down propulsion when using the High-low:xo by pressing the handle. This can be useful when going downhill.

Gas

Using gas spring for height adjustment provides support for the caregiver when increasing the height and provides resistance when decreasing the height. It also ensures a smooth movement. Gas spring height adjustment is operated with a foot pedal on the frame or a lever on the push brace.
Power

Power

Using power for height adjustment provides support for the caregiver, as well as a strong and smooth adjustment, with the possibility of involving the user by using the handset. Power height adjustment is operated using a handset.
Hydraulic

Hydraulic

Using hydraulic for height adjustment provides a strong adjustment without the need to charge the battery. Hydraulic height adjustment is operated with a foot pedal on the frame.
