New CPD Accredited Training

We are proud to offer you our first CPD accredited training course “Reducing care packages”.

This course looks the benefits of single-handed care/reduced care packages to all stakeholders and considers different types of users, whether their needs are simple or complex.

It explains technical terms, looks at current legislation and considers risk control. Time is spent looking at the causes and ways to minimise risk of Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSD) for carers. We demonstrate how using correct techniques and appropriate equipment can help reduce the number of carers needed across a range of everyday moving and handling tasks. There is a particular focus on "Home First", looking at ways to keep someone in their home for as long as possible which covers turning in bed, sit to stand and standing lifts.
