Etac Superstar: Seti and his R82 Meerkat
Meet Seti! Seti is our latest Etac superstar, pictured in his R82 Meerkat. Etac loves that the Meerkat has allowed Seti to gain independence and freedom when partaking in standing play time!
He is now 15 months old and loves using his R82 Meerkat to stand up and play. Seti is very active and loves to interact with everyone. The Meerkat allows Seti to be upright and socialise and play with his friends and family.
The Meerkat has also minimised the frustration from not being able to stand independently yet. He also loves the rocker function!
The R82 Meerkat is a simple standing device where the modular accessories make it easy to meet an individual’s changing needs and the requirements of multiple users.
The Meerkat has been designed to allow children to learn through movement. A rocker can be easily mounted under the base plate (like Seti has!) and positioning is supported while creating the possibility for movement.
In the simplest set-up, it is used with sandals, knee and pelvic supports for children with good segmental control of the trunk.
The R82 Meerkat is an excellent device to support children with a disability or with delayed development. It is available in 3 sizes.
