Export Area Sales Manager
In this position your objective is to develop and expand Etac´s sales in the Asian and/or developing markets. You initiate and form long-term relationships with potential and present customers and stake holders in the Rehab industry. You will support and develop distributors to reach new targets and you initiate marketing activities and channel analysis for increased sales. This is achieved through effective product launches, and trainings on relevant product segments.
The job will also include negotiating distribution agreements, discuss and agree on cost structures, and ensure that each channel has an optimal product mix and profitability.
With profound product knowledge discuss and define professional solutions, which require close cooperation with the customer service team, quality department and others in the factory. Along with product managers and other members of the Export-team you develop goals and strategies for existing and new markets and provide input and feedback from the markets to Product Management and R & D.
University degree in Engineering or Business administration or other equivalent subjects.
Preferably experience in the international rehab / aids / medical device industry.
Channel knowledge; distributors / retailers mainly but preferably also retail / whole sales.
Experience of organizing and conducting trade fairs and trainings in a professional manner.
Good language skills; English and preferably another Scandinavian language.
The role requires that you are analytical, result-oriented and have excellent cooperation and communication skills.
We offer you to work in a dynamic organization in a manufacturing and distribution company with a human approach. The position is based in our HQ in Kista, Sweden, or can be based in one of Etac´s offices in Horsens, Denmark, Marl, Germany or Alkmaar, Netherlands. You will be travelling approximately 1-2 weeks per month and you report to the Product Business Unit Manager.
