Business Development Analyst

Etac provide wheel chairs, patient transfer solutions, hygiene products and the world’s most comprehensive portfolio of pediatrics products. We are truly international with development, manufacturing and sales across Scandinavia, Northern Europe, the US and Australia. The Group has a turnover of SEK 1,4bn with an 800-people strong team. We are fully owned by Nordstjernan, a Swedish family-controlled, unlisted investment company since 2011.

Etac is now strengthening the team with a Business Development Analyst. As Business Development Analyst you will be at the core of the company development, working with senior executives to develop their business plans and priorities, as well as working with the organization in executing projects to grow the company and improve its productivity. The nature of the work does require daily interactions with the whole organization from local sales teams to the company Board. The location for the role will be Etac head office in Stockholm. We are looking for candidates who will fit right into our existing strong team with the ambition and skill set to grow into larger roles.

Main areas of focus

Strategic business planning

  • Support the strategic and business planning process, and works tightly with the Head of Business Development, senior managers as well as the CFO and CEO to develop plans and set priorities for their respective businesses / functions

Board and management structure support

  • Responsible for preparing best-in-class Management team and Board materials. Supports a sustainable management structure

Business development projects

  • Supports and drives business development projects in all parts of the company, both commercial as well as operational projects. Examples are:
  • Developing and maintaining business intelligence
  • M&A projects – process management, due diligence and valuation
  • Integrations of acquisitions
  • Project management of different Group initiatives, such as for example growth initiatives and supply chain projects
  • Various management support assignments

 Required background and experiences

  • University degree in finance and/or engineering with excellent grades
  • A couple of years of experience from management consulting, corporate finance and/or business development
  • Experience of working with senior executive team members
  • International experience
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
  • Private or professional experience from our industry is beneficial
