Specifically developed for clients who often needs re-positioning in a chair or wheelchair. Independent of condition, people move when in a sitting position and the tendency is to slide forward. Re-positioning, or moving back in the chair into an upright sitting position, is also a heavy and difficult task for the carer.
OneWayGlide efficiently limits from sliding forward due to the one-direction sliding mat, and yet facilitates sliding backwards into a more comfortable sitting position. The low friction material and handles along the sides and top facilitates for the carer to pull the client back into position. The long open model provides reach for several re-positions and the soft padded surface is comfortable to sit on even for a longer period. Straps on the bottom can be attached to the chair or wheelchair frame in order to avoid sliding out of position.
