The Thorax Slide Secure is a glidesystem for an X-Ray cassette. The Thorax Slide Secure is specially designed for X-Raying bedridden patients where frequent/daily X-Rays are taken, e.g. patients in intensive care units. The Thorax Slide Secure provides an extra safety against gliding down by means of a sewn on security cassette which is locked onto the bed mattress by the head end.

The facelift:
The security cassette will change from a closed system to elastic bands. Thorax Slide Secure will be easier to place on the mattress. Thorax Slide Secure can be used on mattress with different heights and it gives access to the valve if the Thorax Slide Secure is placed on an air mattress.
