Etac AB is pleased to announce that on the 19 October 2010, the Company entered into an agreement with Katalysator AS that Etac AB would acquire 100% of the shares in Molift Group AS, Norway.
Etac AB manufactures and sells medical aids that improve the lives of disabled people and enhances the work environment of care providers. The Company headquarters are in Stockholm, Sweden, with subsidiaries in Denmark, Germany, Holland, Norway, Sweden and UK. Etac AB has a turnover of 1.1 billion SEK, and has 550 employees.
Molift Group AS develops and produces high quality patient transfer products and solutions for the Healthcare sector.

The acquisition is subject to approval by the Norwegian Competition Authority (Konkurransetilsynet) and it has been agreed that the financial details of the agreement will remain confidential.
