Aktiv reachers facilitates reaching and gripping for people with impaired arm and hand function, thanks to the light weight and the ergonomically designed handles. The jaws can bothopen wide as well as lift the smallest item. They are available in three models to suit various requirements: Reacher, Reacher with power grip and hook, and Reacher with hook.
Aktiv reacher - 45 and 70 cm
The handle is angled to utilize the strength in the hand and provide an effective grip. There is an index finger support on the handle which gives improved precision. The entire gripping surface of the jaws is coated with hardwearing rubber, ensuring plenty of friction, which also reduces the amount of strength required. The jaws of the reacher can also be set in two positions. This means that the reacher can be used both horizontally and vertically having to turn the arm. This reacher is available in two lengths, 45 and 70 cm.

Aktiv reacher with power grip and hook
This reacher is designed with an 90° angled handle and an adjustable forearm support which enables use for persons with very limited lifting ability and weak hands. The jaws are provided with hooks for the user to pull or push things away. The jaws of the reacher can be set in two positions, which means that the reacher can be used both horizontally and vertically without having to turn the arm.

Aktiv reacher with hook
This reacher combines a range of functions which makes it suitable as an aid when dressing and undressing. The jaws are provided with hooks which also makes it suitable as an aid for dressing and undressing. They can be rotated and are fitted with patterned rubber on the inside to provide a safe grip. This reacher has an angled handle which utilises the strength in the hand. It is small and flexible, just 45 cm long.
