The Avant is also available in two widths. This means that the Avant is comfortable for everyone, whether short or tall, slim or heavily built.

The seat height and wheelbase of the Avant walker adjust automatically with the handle height which is adjustable from 74 cm to 100 cms in 2.5 cms increments. No tools are required when adjusting the walker. The frame provides safe back and side support when sitting, and it also provides a good grip to raise the front wheels over the kerb or threshold.

The Avant has a maintenance-free, modern strap-braking system where no cables will jam or get caught up. It gives the Avant a clean, uncluttered and stylish look.

The seat may be folded up to allow more walking space and a better reach forward. This will also allow the user to walk safely with a better posture within the security of the frame, thus being supported on either side. The walker is easily folded by simply pushing down a catch, folding up the seat and pulling upwards. The Avant is suitable for use by people weighing up to 135 kg.
